South Africa Investment Conference 2026 SEIFSA Members

DEAR SEIFSA MEMBER ASSOCIATIONS AND COMPANIES 

The Department of Trade, Industry and Competition (the dtic), through InvestSA, is coordinating industry participation in the upcoming South African Presidential Investment Conference, scheduled to take place in March 2026 at the Sandton Convention Centre.

In this regard, the SEIFSA Office has been requested to circulate the invitation below (and attached presentation) to members and inviting qualifying companies to respond directly to the DTIC. Kindly note:

  • The context and criteria for submissions are included below and in the attached presentation
  • Please send all responses to the DTIC: JFredericks@thedtic.gov.za
  • Please also copy the SEIFSA Office (Tafadzwa@seifsa.co.za) for coordination
  • Deadline for submissions is the 13th of February 2026.

Invitation to Industry Members:
InvestSA hereby invites qualifying South African manufacturers and investors to express interest in participating in the South African Presidential Investment Conference.

Continued investment by industry remains a strong demonstration of confidence in South Africa’s advanced manufacturing industrial base. In this context, InvestSA would welcome the opportunity for participating companies to profile fixed investments undertaken during the 2025–2027 period, including:

  • Progress achieved to date
  • Expansion, localisation or technology transfer initiatives
  • Forward-looking investment plans under consideration

The Presidential Investment Conference serves as an established, high-level platform to showcase credible and strategic investments that contribute to industrialisation, localisation, skills development, job creation and national capability development, while reinforcing South Africa’s position as a competitive destination for advanced manufacturing.

Selected participants will be afforded an opportunity to engage with Government at the highest level, including an engagement with the President of the Republic of South Africa, alongside senior Ministers and senior officials.

Interested and qualifying companies are requested to:

  • Submit a brief company profile and overview of the investment undertaken or planned
